Dr. Jeff Pool-President
Dr. Pool and his family have been in the Joshua area for over 18 years now, and have watched their children grow up supported by this wonderful community. He and his wife are the proud owners of a local business, Joshua Chiropractic, where Dr. Pool has been serving the patients of Johnson County. They have three children that have come through Joshua ISD, Parker, graduate of Dallas Baptist University. Lindy, a a 2023 JHS graduate, and Tyler who will graduate from JHS in 2025.
Dr, Pool has served as the Foundation's president since its conception, and has been blessed to watch it grow and develop over the years!
Brad Jones-Vice President of Administration
Brad Jones is a Financial Advisor in Private Wealth Management for The Ryan-Jones Group. He has three children in Joshua ISD. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, guitar and loves to travel. Brad is one of the long time board members of the Joshua Education Foundation and has helped to create many opportunities for students and teachers of JISD over many years.
Keith Boone-Vice President of Programs
Keith and his wife, Angela, moved to Joshua ISD in 2010. He has two boys that are Joshua ISD students. Kade is a current student at Joshua High School, and Kash is currently at Nichols Middle School. Keith and his wife are extremely active within the Joshua ISD, serving the district in many different capacities over the years.
Keith is extremely passionate about excellence in education and the role that the Foundation takes in supporting Joshua ISD teachers and students.
Ryan Studdard-Associate Director of Programs
Ryan Studdard is a seasoned real estate broker and owner with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Specializing in real estate, development, investing, and property management, Ryan has successfully guided countless clients through their property transactions with expertise and integrity. Beyond his professional commitments, Ryan is deeply involved in his community, coaching his son's Little League team, and actively participating in local events. Together with his wife Lacy, Ryan operates Oak + Ash Realty, providing personalized service and unmatched dedication to their clients. Their family values extend to their children, who attend Joshua schools, anchoring their commitment to the local community. With a blend of experience, passion, and community spirit, Ryan Studdard is a trusted partner devoting his time to the advancement of Joshua ISD though the Education Foundation.
Angela Warmath-Vice President of Community Development
Angela has served the Joshua/Burleson and surrounding area for many years as she has grown her A. Warmath Allstate Insurance Agency. She has devoted many years to the community, and raises her son Aidan, who is a student at Joshua High School. Angela enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is dedicated to serving the community and giving back in many ways throughout each and every year. Angela is one of the longest servng board members on the Joshua Education Foundation and has helped to create the many successes for teachers and students through the years.
Katie Reames-Associate Director of Community Relations
Born and raised in Burleson, Katie is proud to have deep roots in Johnson County. A former teacher, Katie always felt her extroverted soul wasn’t meant to stay within the four walls of a classroom forever. It didn’t take long to discover that real estate offered the perfect avenue to channel her passion for relationships and her commitment to service. Katie, her husband Jason, and their three kids love to travel. She is a firm believer in collecting moments rather than things. But traveling doesn’t distract her from her commitment to her community. Along with serving on the Foundation board, she also serves as president of the home owner’s association in her neighborhood and serves as a high school girls youth leader at her church. Wherever she is you will certainly find Katie surrounded by people. Whether clients, family, community members, or friends, Katie is a people-person who is energized by serving others.
Fran Marek-Vice President of Community Relations
Fran Marek served as an educator in Joshua ISD for 33 years. She began working in Joshua ISD as a middle school science teacher in August 1990 and retired as Superintendent of Joshua ISD in June of 2023. Between that time span, she served the District as an elementary assistant principal, an elementary principal, a director of curriculum, and an assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction.
Fran and her husband, Craig, have lived in Joshua ISD since 2006. They have two children who both graduated from Joshua ISD.
Fran has always believed in and supported the Joshua ISD Education Foundation since its conception. She served on the Founding Donor Committee in 2009 and has been involved with the Foundation from that time forward.
She is very excited about this new opportunity and looks forward to working together with all of the Education Foundation Board Members to help enhance the resources and experiences for the staff and students in Joshua ISD.
Gabrielle Hall-Associate Director of Community Development
Gabrielle Hall spent summers, weekends, and all holidays at her grandparents’, Coach Tom and Nita Nichols. Joshua was her second home. In 2014, it became her hometown. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. She is an Assistant Vice President and Private Banker at Frost Bank.
Gabrielle is the mother of two young children who will attend Joshua ISD— Nathaniel (4) and Grace (1). Because of her grandparents, Joshua ISD is very special to her. She wants to continue their legacy by giving back to the staff and students.
Tim Freeman- Treasurer
Tim Freeman was born and raised in Lubbock, TX where he eventually attended and graduated from Texas Tech University. He moved to the Burleson / Joshua area after marrying his wife, Ashlie Freeman, in 2009. Tim and Ashlie have a daughter, Lyndie, a Nichols Middle School student, and a son, Luke, at Elder Elementary. Tim's wife Ashlie is also a 7th grade teacher at Nichols Middle School. Tim works for Pioneer Natural Resources as an Engineer and Continuous Improvement Advisor. He enjoys serving at Pathway Church and in the Joshua community, and he enjoys traveling and camping with family and friends.
Tim has a passion for the role that an ISD plays in the future of children’s lives, and he believes that a healthy education foundation is essential in supporting Joshua ISD towards helping students excel.
Lowell Taylor-Secretary
Lowell Taylor was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Skyline High School (Dallas ISD) in 1994. He studied Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 1998 and Master of Architecture in 2000. Lowell has worked in K-12 Architectural Design his entire professional career (26 years). His father was a High School Science Teacher for 31 years and instilled a deep appreciation for the educational system and what affect that can have on all. Lowell, his wife Paula and son Noah live in Burleson after living in Cedar Hill for the past 20 years and are excited to be apart of this community and what they can bring to it.
